The oil painting courses are designed to accommodate all students from the beginner to the more accomplished. The classes are small and each student is given individual tuition as appropriate. In this way each person is able to gain in confidence and progress at an individual pace.
What will I learn?
Two still life set-ups are created each day - with the possibility of a time extension if required - these are lively and interesting and examine the historical as well as the contemporary issues which surround the subject.
The courses are structured so that different aspects of oil painting are covered. These include composition, colour mixing and the basic development of a painting from the initial brush stroke to the completion of the work.
